2019: A NEIBA and ABCA/Rawlings Division III All-New England Third Team selection … a D3baseball.com All-New England Third Team selection … named NECC Player of the Year, the first freshman to ever earn the honor … a NECC All-Conference First Team selection … started and played in all 42 games, all but one of which came in left field … batted .379 with 48 RBI and 44 runs scored … led the team in hits (53), doubles (13), homers (6) and total bases (88) … stole six bases in nine attempts … drew 15 walks … led the NECC in sacrifice flies and ranked among the leaders in RBI (2nd), doubles (3rd), hit by pitch (3rd), total bases (3rd), homers (4th), hits (5th), slugging (5th), runs (6th), triples (9th) and on-base percentage (9th) … in conference play, batted a team-high .521 with 23 RBI and 22 runs scored … had 15 multi-hit games … had a team-high 13 multi-RBI games … longest hitting streak spanned a team-high 12 games … recorded a hit in 31 of 42 games … reached base safely in 36 of 42 games … hit a two-run homer in his first collegiate plate appearance against UMass Dartmouth … drove in four runs against Penn State Abington … had two hits, including a home run, and drove in six runs in the series with Husson … had 24 total hits and 19 RBI during his 12-game hitting streak in which Mitchell went unbeaten … a four-time NECC Rookie of the Week selection (March 4, 18, April 8, 29).
