Michael Ficocelli

Sophomore Michael Ficocelli (North Providence, R.I.) closed out the regular season with a bang, slashing .526/.500/.737 across four games for the Mitchell baseball team.

Ficocelli went 10-19 with four doubles, five RBI, and five runs scored with three multi-hit games. After being held hitless against Saint Joseph's College (ME) to begin the week, the sophomore went 2-5 with one RBI and one run scored against Coast Guard before a huge performance in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) doubleheader on Sunday against Elms College. Across two games against the Blazers, Ficocelli went 8-10 with four doubles, drove in four runs, and scored four times.

Through the end of the regular season, Ficocelli ranks third in the conference with 53 hits and is tied for fourth with 36 runs batted in.
