Williams College will host the event, where more than 50 men's and women's teams will compete for the right to advance to the NCAA Championships at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. The men's 8-kilometer championship race begins at 11 a.m. and the women's 6-kilometer championship race starts at noon.
The top two teams in each race will automatically advance to the NCAA Championships with the potential for up to three additional teams earning a bid via the at-large selection process for either gender. The NCAA Division III Championship races will be held on Saturday, November 20.
The Mitchell men's squad will be competing in the NCAA Regionals for the first time ever. The Mariners most recently posted a runner-up finish at the 2010 NECC Championship on October 30. Senior John Hoffman paced the squad at the event with a second-place finish to earn NECC All-Conference First Team honors.
