Runners Earn All-Conference Honors; Men Runners Up in Conference Championships

Boston, Mass.-Newbury College hosted the inaugural 2008 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Cross Country Championship yesterday at Franklin Park. Eight of the nine member institutions participated in the race which saw top team finishes from the Daniel Webster Eagles (39 points) on the mens side and the Lesley Lynx (28 points) on the womens side.
Mitchell Men Place First in Invitational

New London, Conn--Mitchell Men's Cross Country finished first and had the first four runners cross the finish line in the Mitchell College 5000 Meter Invitational on Wednesday, October 1, 2008. John Hoffman (Bala Cynwyd, PA) finished first with a time of 17:35.

ATTLEBORO, Mass. Lesley University has been tabbed as the preseason favorite to capture the New England Collegiate Conference womens cross country championship, it was announced today by Commissioner Del Malloy. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the NECCs head womens cross country coaches.
