Kaftan & Ficocelli Earn All-Region Honors from D3baseball.com
NEW LONDON, Conn. – Two members of the Mitchell College baseball team earned All-Region honors from D3baseball.com on Tuesday when the popular website released their All-Region teams spanning 10 different regions. The 2025 season marks the 13th season that D3baseball.com has named All-Region teams, with more than 1,000 players nominated. The ballot was then made available to D3baseball.com staff and contributors from which three teams in each region were determined.

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Mitchell College Department of Athletics hosted its annual senior awards banquet on campus in the Red Barn on Wednesday, May 14. The event, which drew over 100 guests, featured a series of end of year awards, along with recognition of the senior athletes in the class of 2025 as the academic and athletic year comes to an end.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The second-seeded Mitchell College baseball team saw their season come to an end in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship Series on Saturday afternoon, falling to top-seeded Johnson & Wales University, 5-2, at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex.

Senior Gemma Landry (Lewiston, ME) was virtually unstoppable across three games for the Mitchell softball team to close out the regular season, slashing .636/.667/.909 with three doubles, four RBI, and two runs scored.
