made the majority of her starts at third base but also saw action
at first base and behind the plate ... batted .235 with 20 RBI
and 16 runs scored ... seven of her 23 hits went for extra bases,
including five doubles ... had six multi-hit games ... had
three multi-RBI games ... longest hitting streak spanned three
games ... collected her first collegiate hit in the season opener
against Emmanuel ... went 2-for-3 with a RBI against Misericordia
... went 3-for-4 with three RBI and hit her first career home run
against Southern Vermont ... also drove in three runs in the

It was a dominant week for Mitchell College junior Brooke Whitmarsh (Portsmouth, R.I.), as the junior catcher/3B slashed .440/.500/.640, helping guide the Mariners to a 6-2 record on the week, including a 5-1 mark in conference play.

Michael Ficocelli (North Providence, R.I.) continued his strong freshman season, slashing .467/.467/.533, helping guide the Mitchell College baseball team to a 3-0 record on the week, including a 1-0 mark in conference play.
