Lacrosse Falls to Becker in Season Finale

NEW LONDON, Conn. The Mitchell College mens lacrosse team (0-10) fell to Becker College today, 22-6, in their season finale and on a day in which the programs three seniors were honored. Senior Ian Gosselin (Uncasville, Conn.) led the way for the Mariners with three goals and one assist, while fellow senior Zach Ledvina (New Bedford, Mass.) chipped in with two goals and one assist. Justin Curtis (Fairfield, Conn.) also closed out his career with the Mariners today.
Balanced Scoring Leads Nichols Past Mitchell, 18-0

DUDLEY, Mass. A balanced scoring attack led the Nichols College mens lacrosse team to an 18-0 non-conference victory over visiting Mitchell Monday evening at Vendetti Field. The Bison received multiple-goal games from six players, led by a three goals each from Brian Gattie (Plainfield, N.H.) and Garrett Hill (Braintree, Mass.), to improve to 4-7 on the season. The Mariners fall to 0-9.
Manning Leads Daniel Webster to Victory Over Mitchell Lacrosse

NEW LONDON, Conn. Ryan Manning (Newport, N.H.) scored 10 goals and led the Eagles of Daniel Webster College to their first win of the season and a 20-16 win over Mitchell College this afternoon. Zach Ledvina (New Bedford, Mass.) led the Mariners with six goals and two assists in the loss.

Fourth-Quarter Surge Propels Green Mountain College to Victory Over Mariners

POULTNEY, Vt. - Six 4th quarter goals by Green Mountain College were good enough to claim a 14-12 non-conference men's lacrosse victory over Mitchell College Sunday afternoon. The win was the first on the season for the Eagles who are 1-6 overall, while the Mariners are still looking for their first win of the season.

NEW LONDON, Conn. The Mitchell College mens lacrosse team lost to the Amcats of Anna Maria College this afternoon, 17-4 . Mike Saulnier (Wrentham, Mass.) led the Amcats with 10 goals, and Joseph Fedullo (Middletown, Mass.) added two goals and one assist in the win. The Mariners were led by Adam Grillo (Waterford, Conn.) who scored two goals, and Zach Ledvina (New Bedford, Mass.) added a goal and an assist.

NEW LONDON, Conn. The Falcons of St. Joseph College (ME) defeated Mitchell today in a mens lacrosse game, 24-7. Zach Ledvina (New Bedford, Mass.) scored four goals and had two assists in the loss. Paul Dolewa (Saco, Maine) tallied five goals and an assist in the win for the Falcons.

The College of Mount Saint Vincent Mens Lacrosse team had 12 different players score goals on Thursday and had six players net at least two as it cruised to a 22-2 victory over Mitchell. Sophomore Mike Shea (Congers, N.Y.) led the offensive attack with four markers, while rookie Rowan Frederick (Brooklyn, N.Y.) handed out five assists.

Mitchell Hires Jewett to Lead Mens Lacrosse Program

NEW LONDON, CONN. Mitchell College has hired Steve Jewett to lead the mens lacrosse program. Jewett was at the helm of the Hamden Hall Country Day School boys lacrosse program for the past 18 years, where he posted over 125 wins and was named the US Lacrosse Fairchester League Coach of the Year twice.
