NEW LONDON, Conn. – Senior Michael Gajda (New Britain, Conn.) went 4-6 with a home run, two RBI, and one run scored, as the top-seeded Mitchell College baseball team overcame an early five run deficit and used a seven run fifth inning to defeat #4 Colby-Sawyer College 19-10 during the second day of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament at Alumni Field.

Baseball Races Past SCJ in GNAC Tournament Opener
NEW LONDON, Conn. – Junior Chris Gibbs (New Britain, Conn.) tossed eight innings of three-run ball on Friday, helping guide the top-seed Mitchell College baseball team to a 15-6 victory over eighth-seeded Saint Joseph’s College (ME) in the opening game of Pod A play in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Baseball Tournament at Alumni Field.
Men’s Lacrosse Concludes Season with Loss to MCLA
NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Mitchell College men’s lacrosse team wrapped up their season on Monday afternoon by falling to the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) by a 9-6 final in non-conference action.
