Schedule Change Announced for 2010 NECC Baseball Championship
NASHAU, N.H. - The 2010 NECC Baseball Championship has had its
original schedule altered due to an 80-percent chance of rain and
scattered thunderstorms on Saturday in the Nashua area.
The start times for both of Friday's games have been moved back two
hours in order to accomodate a third game. Top-seeded Daniel
Webster College will now face fourth-seeded Southern Vermont
College at 10 a.m., followed by second-seeded Mitchell College
against third-seeded Becker College at 1 p.m. The losing teams from
each game will then square off at 4 p.m.
Two games will be played on Saturday if weather permits, followed
by the title games on Sunday (Game 7 if needed). If the weather
doesn't allow for play on Saturday, then three games will be played
on Sunday.
