NEW LONDON, Conn. – Five players scored in double-figures for the Mitchell College men’s basketball team on Saturday afternoon, as the Mariners cruised past Dean College 88-64 in a non-conference game at the Yarnall Athletic Center.
Women’s Basketball Outlasts Dean in Overtime Thriller
FRANKLIN, Mass. – Junior guard Jamya Beddoe (New London, Conn.) scored a career-high 29 points and freshman guard Jordyn Streitmatter (Brewster, Mass.) added a career-high 26 points on Saturday afternoon, leading the Mitchell College women’s basketball team to an 86-83 overtime win over Dean College in a non-conference showdown at Pieri Gymnasium.
Men’s Basketball Holds off Purchase
NEW LONDON, Conn. – Senior Jaylyn Clardy (Pensacola, Fla.) and junior Eddie Volkerts (New London, Conn.) combined for 47 points on Wednesday evening, helping the Mitchell College men’s basketball team withstand Purchase College by a final of 81-76 in a non-conference clash at the Yarnall Athletic Center.
