Golf Finishes Second in ENC Tri-Match
HINGHAM, Mass. -- The Mitchell College men's golf team played a tri-match against Eastern Nazarene College and Wentworth Institute of Technology on Wednesday afternoon at South Shore Country Club.
Despite not having a golfer break 80, Wentworth posted the low team round of the day with a team total of 327. Mitchell came in at 347 while Eastern Nazarene posted a 393.
Mitchell's Nick Knisel and ENC's Michael Dietz each carded rounds of 76, the lowest on the day. The 76 was also the lowest round posted by Knisel this season, as well as one shot off his career best.
Christopher Ronzello also turned in a solid round of 85, the lowest of his collegiate career. Michael McCarthy was a shot behind at 86.
Mitchell returns to action at the Westfield State Invitational on Thursday, September 19 at Tekoa Country Club.
