2017: A NECC All-Conference Second Team and NECC All-Sportsmanship Team selection ... competed in all nine events ... logged 10 rounds ... posted a team-low stroke average of 80.6 ... led the team in six events ... recorded six top-five finishes and eight top-10 finishes ... carded the lowest round by a Mitchell golfer on the season, shooting 76 at both the Mitchell Invitational and the NECC Championship ... finished tied for second at the Mitchell Invitational ... also finished as runner up in his collegiate debut, shooting 78 at the Mitchell Tournament ... shot 76 in the first round of the NECC Championship and finished ninth overall with a two-day total of 156 ... both scores were also the lowest ever by a Mitchell golfer in the 10-year history of the conference tournament ... named NECC Rookie of the Week on October 16.

Kaftan & Ficocelli Earn All-Region Honors from D3baseball.com

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Two members of the Mitchell College baseball team earned All-Region honors from D3baseball.com on Tuesday when the popular website released their All-Region teams spanning 10 different regions. The 2025 season marks the 13th season that D3baseball.com has named All-Region teams, with more than 1,000 players nominated. The ballot was then made available to D3baseball.com staff and contributors from which three teams in each region were determined.

The event, which drew over 100 guests, featured a series of end of year awards, along with recognition of the senior athletes in the class of 2025 as the academic and athletic year comes to an end.
