Volleyball Holds off Albertus Magnus for 3-1 Win
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Mitchell College women's volleyball team
held off Albertus Magnus College for a 3-1 victory on Wednesday
night.
The Mariners (3-4 overall), who have won their last two matches,
beat the Falcons by final scores of 25-22, 23-25, 25-23 and 25-18.
Freshman Shayna Diggs led Mitchell with 12 kills and added two
blocks.
In the fourth and final set, Mitchell sealed the win behind the

victory for the Mariners.
Senior Heather-Renae Powers added nine kills, five digs and three
blocks for Mitchell while sophomore Kimberly Campbell had eight
kills and one block. Junior Jennifer Bordonaro handed out 27
