EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. - The Bay Path University women's volleyball team handed Mitchell College a 3-0 defeat on Thursday night in New England Collegiate Conference action.
Bay Path (8-10 overall, 1-3 NECC) won by set scores of 25-22, 25-14 and 25-23. The Wildcats were led by Ashlee Connors, who finished with 10 kills and four digs while hitting .526 for the match. Lauren Vallee topped all players with 15 kills, three digs and five blocks, and Lexi Cears added 26 assists and four digs.
Mitchell was paced by Lauren Tompkins with 13 assists and two digs. Ariana Carter came off the bench to notch a team-high six kills while Italia Krick and Myia Williams contributed five apiece.
Mitchell (1-15 overall, 1-3 NECC) returns to action at Elms College on Saturday, October 21 at noon.
