LAX's Setzko Named NECC Rookie of the Week
ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Mitchell College freshman Jacob Setzko was named New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week for the sport of men's lacrosse, as announced by the league on Monday.
Setzko led Mitchell in scoring last week with seven goals and two assists for nine points. He finished with four goals against Nichols College to start the week and added a hat trick and two assists at Rivier University.
A midfielder who has played in all five games this season, Setzko is currently tied for second on the team in scoring with 11 goals and six assists for 17 points. Four of his goals have come on man-up opportunities, the most on the team and third-most in the NECC.
Mitchell (1-4 overall) returns to action at Becker College on Saturday, April 2 at 1 p.m.
