NEW HAVEN, CT - The Mitchell College men's basketball team dropped a 100-73 decision at Albertus Magnus Collegeg on Tueday night at The Nest.
Walden St. Juste eclipsed 1,000 points in his career and scored 18 points to go along with seven steals as Albertus cruised to victory. Ray Askew had game highs of 26 points and 11 rebounds as the Falcons topped their second straight NECC foe.
Junior John Patterson netted a career-high 15 points to lead the Mariners (1-5 overall). Freshman Jamall McDaniel added 12 points and junior Mercury Fiske finished with nine points, eight rebounds and eight assists.
Albertus jumped out to a 27-12 lead with 12:09 remaining and never looked back, taking a 57-35 lead into haltime. The Falcons led by double digits the rest of the way.
Mitchell returns to action on Friday, December 3 against Eastern Nazarene College at the ENC Tournament.
