#13 Trinity Sprints Past Men’s Basketball
HARTFORD, Conn. – The #13 Trinity College men's basketball team rolled past Mitchell College 87-31 on Wednesday night in a non-conference action at Ray Oosting Gymnasium. The game marked the third time this season which the Bantams scored at least 85 points, and improved their record against Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponents to 6-0, 10-0 overall. With the loss, the Mariners fall to 0-7 to begin the winter.
Junior Jaylyn Clardy (Pensacola, Fla.) paced the Mariners with 15 points, six rebounds, and five steals. Clardy was the lone Mitchell player to finish in double-figures scoring, while freshman Elijah Miller (Ellington, Conn.) chipped in six points, two rebounds, and one assist off the bench.
After Clardy made a jump shot 55 seconds into the game to tie the score at 2-2, Trinity would promptly answer with a 9-0 run to grab the lead, never looking back. The Bantams outscored the Mariners 46-19 in the opening half, and held the visiting squad to just 12 points in the second stanza, building a lead in the waning moments that grew at large as 56 points.

Callahan-Gold added six rebounds and three blocks of his own, while Henry Vetter also contributed 11 points, seven rebounds, and three assists in the win.
