Buscetto Named NECC Player of the Week
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Mitchell College senior Mikey Buscetto (Waterford, Conn.) was named New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week for the sport of men's basketball, as announced by the league on Monday morning.
Buscetto delivered his best performance of the season for the Mitchell College men's basketball team on Wednesday evening, leading the Mariners over Trinity College 86-77. The senior guard was dominant, pouring in a season-high 31 points on 60% shooting, including four makes from three point territory. Buscetto also dished out nine assists, came away with three steals, and grabbed two rebounds.
