Narvaez Named to D3hoops.com Team of the Week

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Mitchell College junior Jacob Narvaez was one of five men's basketball players named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week, as announced by the popular web site late Monday night.
The site recognizes the top performances in the nation at each of the five positions from the previous week. Narvaez becomes the third Mitchell player to ever earn the distinction, joining Domenico Santiago (January 2018) and Joshua Ford (December 2013).
Narvaez, a guard, went a perfect 9-for-9 from the floor in a win over Colby College last week. He also secured his first career double-double, finishing with 21 points and a game-high 16 rebounds. Both totals were career highs.
In 12 games this season, Narvaez has made eight starts and leads the Mariners in rebounding at 6.2 per game. He also averages 6.8 points per contest and has scored in double digits in each of the last four games.
Mitchell (5-7 overall) will next play at Trinity College on Tuesday, January 11 at 7 p.m.
