Championship in 2012 and the finals in 2013 ... the Mariners posted
two winning seasons and an overall record of 20-8 (15-5 NECC) in
his two seasons.
2013: Played in all 14 singles matches and saw action at the No. 1,
3, 4 and 5 spots ... had an overall record of 8-6 in singles play,
including 7-3 in conference matches ... the seven NECC victories
tied for second most on the team ... didn't drop a game in a
straight sets victory at No. 1 against Wheelock ... won in three
sets at Newbury while playing No. 3 ... played in 12 doubles
matches, all but three of which came at the No. 3 spot ... had an

It was a dominant week for Mitchell College junior Brooke Whitmarsh (Portsmouth, R.I.), as the junior catcher/3B slashed .440/.500/.640, helping guide the Mariners to a 6-2 record on the week, including a 5-1 mark in conference play.

Michael Ficocelli (North Providence, R.I.) continued his strong freshman season, slashing .467/.467/.533, helping guide the Mitchell College baseball team to a 3-0 record on the week, including a 1-0 mark in conference play.
