CHICOPEE, Mass. – The Mitchell College women's basketball team was unable to pick up their first Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) win of the season on Tuesday evening, falling to Elms College 76-49 at Picknelly Arena.
Freshman N'Tai Teague led all scorers with 22 points on 8-15 shooting, while adding 10 rebounds, two steals, and one block.
Mary Turco of Elms finished with a 18 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Blazers.
The Mariners (2-9, 0-5 GNAC) take to the court next on Saturday, January 25, when they face off against Emmanuel College in a GNAC game at the Yarnall Athletic Center which is slated to tip-off at 3:00 pm. The Blazers (6-10, 3-2 GNAC) will look to make it three wins in a row when they play next at Saint Joseph's College (ME) on Saturday, January 25.
